Cavities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tooth decay is probably the number one cause of toothaches. Some cavities are noticeable in the mirror while others are more subtle. Either way, pain is a sure sign the tooth needs attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fractured Enamel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many tooth fractures go unnoticed for years. Pain could be from a recent bump to the mouth or from an old filling that’s leaking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sensitivity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, sensitivity can be quite severe. Fortunately, it’s easily treated in the dental chair. Sudden changes should always be addressed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TMD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TMD or \u201cTMJD\u201d is the acronym for temporomandibular joint disorder, meaning a problem with your TMJ. Jaw pain will affect everything from chewing to yawning and should definitely not be ignored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impacted Teeth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wisdom teeth are commonly the culprits in a case of impaction. When a tooth doesn’t grow straight out of the gums, it can push into the tooth next to it and cause a consistent or off-and-on discomfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
